Born in Bombay, Ejaz is the son of a film director. He grew up “on set” among cameras and lights. This provided perfect training for a young boy who aspired to be a photographer. He was able to learn the art of story and drama, while gaining a sense of cinematic flair that now plays an important role in his photographs.

As a teenager, Ejaz developed a love for fashion that eventually led him to open his own store in India. When an untimely fire destroyed the store, he decided it was time to move on. He relocated to New York City, where he continued to work in fashion, learning the ins and outs of the business. After a few years, Ejaz decided the time was right to marry his twin passions, fashion and photography.

Since then, he has developed an impressive roster of fashion and beauty clients, including Loro Piana, Adam and Kara Janx. His editorial work has been featured in such magazines as Vogue, L'Officiel, Noi.se and MetroPop.
